Linda Keister Young, 74, of Radford, went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 14, 2018. She was a member of Belview United Methodist Church in Radford and retired from Kolmorgen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Bessie Keister. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Samuel Lewis Young; daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Peter Lima, and Jeanette and Phillip Coley, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren and their spouses, Adam and Kristen Thomas, Phillip and Katelyn Thomas, Harrison Lima, Stacey Thomas, Juliana Lima, Jesse and Miranda Coley, and Chase Coley; great-granddaughter, Fiona Thomas; sisters and brother-in-law, Zola Rogers of Indiana, Donna Spano of Christiansburg, and Sherry and James Carter of Radford; sisters-in-law, Frankie Tate, Peggy Epperly and Shirley Young; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Belview United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park in Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
