Linda Vest Bower, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2019. She was a self-employed seamstress for over 35 years, but her favorite title was "Grandma". Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harless and Pearl Vest; and four sisters. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Vanessa and David Moore of Salem, Denise and Bobby Reed of Christiansburg, and Naomi and Lee Lagan of Okeene, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law, Velma and Mack Gibson of Christiansburg; 7 grandchildren, Derick Linkous, Zachary Moore, and Ashley, Andrew, Conner, Rebekah and Lara Lagan; and a great grandchild, Branson Hicks. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery in Floyd County.
