Lillie Farmer Webb Nester, 79, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Pulaski Health and Rehab. She was a retired nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Carlos Webb and Jesse Lafeyette Nester, a daughter Nancy Emaline Gallimore, brothers and sisters, Ed, David, Emmett, and Pete Farmer, and Bell Furrow. Survivors include five children, Sandra Lynn Hinkley of Roanoke, Phoebe Jane Collins of Dublin, Cynthia Grace Sutphin and husband Joe of Rustburg, John Mark Webb and wife Deanne, and Tammy Sue Webb of Christiansburg; son-in-law, John Gallimore; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mack Farmer, Betty McPeak , Vernon Farmer and Mary Alger; sisters-in-law, Analee Farmer, Katie Farmer and Iris Farmer; longtime friend, Charlie Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10 am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Hugh Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
