Leverette Hale Jennelle, 73 of Radford, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and retired from Bell Atlantic. He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Audrey J. Jennelle of Radford; a daughter Jann Jennelle and her husband Dana Shields of Roswell, GA; a son Steven Jennelle and his wife Jeanette of New Castle; grandchildren Briana, Dustin, Catherine, and Amelia Jennelle and Brendan Shields; and a sister Nancy Stephens and her husband Elmer of Hampton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church in Radford with Rev. Ric Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Central United Methodist Church Building Fund, 803 Wadsworth St., Radford, VA 24141.
