Lena Albert Sims, 87, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Marion Sims. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Tina Sims and Rickey and Joyce Sims, all of Radford; two grandchildren and their spouses, Amy and Bobby Bond of Radford and Jeffrey and April Sims of Fairlawn; one great grandson, Zachary Ryan Sims. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with Rev. O.D. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
