Lelia Robbins Irvine, 71, of Dublin, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, August 7, 2015. She was a member of Dublin United Methodist Church and a retired teacher with Pulaski County Schools with over 30 years of service. Ms. Irvine was born in Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Thomas E. Robbins, Jr. and Margaret Wade Robbins. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Shana and Joe Morehead of Dublin, and Sheri Irvine Kirby of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas E., III and Pam Robbins of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Patricia Wade Robbins of Dallas, Texas; uncle, Earl Nichols of Memphis, Tenn.; grandchildren, Joshua Bryan Kirby, Lari Morgan Morehead, and Braylin Elizabeth Morehead; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Dublin United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Hanshew officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Dublin Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Dublin United Methodist Church.
