Larry "Steve" Steven Farmer, 64, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War and was a machine operator with Kollmorgen. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Mark Farmer and Dafron East, his grandparents, Mark and Hattie Farmer, and brother, Timothy Farmer. Survivors include his partner in life Janice Neely; sister, Peggy Jane Gale of Madison, TN; uncle and aunt, Andy and Shelby Farmer of Radford; an aunt, Louise McCoy of Springfield; special cousin, friend and wrestling fan, Allen and Tammy Bain; special friends, Steve and Vickie Neely; and many other cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Glennard Quesenberry officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm prior to the service. Military graveside rites will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 9, 2012 in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The Farmer family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
