Kenneth Alvin "Butch" Reed, Sr., 78, passed away at his home in Radford on Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was employed with Reed Auto Parts for over 40 years, was a lifetime member of the Radford Fire Department and attended Central United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald "Mutt"; and his brother, Billy Reed. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Bootsie Reed; sons and their spouses, Kenneth, Jr. and Brian Adams-Reed, and Keith and Katrina Reed; mother, Louise Reed; grandchildren, Shawn and Kailey; brother, Jerry Reed; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Barber, and Susie and Calvin Busby; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, with Rev. Dennis Martin and Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
