Kenneth Wayne Naff, 70, of Radford passed away peacefully Thursday, June 9, 2011 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and retiree from New River Industries where he was a loom mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and lover of the outdoors. He never met a stranger and had many special friends. He was a fixture at the Sportsman Restaurant for breakfast and swapping tall tales. He was preceded in death by his parents Preston and Opal Vest Naff. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Judy H. Naff; three daughters Suzanne Blair, Dana (Mike) Collins and Jennifer (Dan) Marion all of Radford; three brothers James Naff of Willis, Eddie (Susan) Naff of Hillsville and Gene Naff of Roanoke; two sisters Clara (Virgil) McHone of Shawsville and Frances (Sonny) Reed of Roanoke; five grandchildren Stephanie (Stephen), Samantha, Lauren, Bradley and Kemper; and great granddaughter Riley. He also leaves to cherish his memory and his "chair" his faithful companions Tori, Sugar and Ginger. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Reverend Jerry E. Wyms officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Radford Humane Society, 829 Second Street, Radford, VA 24141.
