Kenneth Wayne King, 75, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the First Air Calvary during the Vietnam Era during which time he received a Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Minnie King; and his wife, Shirley Sutphin King. Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Kissinger (Wayne); sons, Michael King and Scott King (Buffy); grandchildren, Travis Kissinger (Kay) and Jesse Lee King; great grandson, Kolbi; brother, Doug King (Kathy); sisters, Joyce Obaugh and Linda Rouse (Junior); and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
