Kathleen McCallister Haga, 87, of Dublin, and formally of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on December 17, 2010 after a brief illness. Kathleen was born on November 1, 1923. She married Walter Blair Haga on April 29, 1941. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was an active member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Charleston, WVa. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Walter Blair Haga. Survivors include her sons Burl Walter Haga (Cindy Walker Haga) of Brunswick, MD and Lowell Bair Haga (Ruth Ann Morrison Haga) of Hanover, PA; her daughter, Karen H. Akers (Allen A. Akers ) of Dublin; grandchildren Kevin W. Haga (Suzanne) of MD, Kristen Faye Haga of MD, Sean Patrick Haga (Stacy) of MD, Bobbi S. Metz of VA, Megan Mae Metz of VA; step-granddaughters, Mary Kate Akers of VA and Sarah Beth Davis (Michael) of VA; six great-grandchildren, Kyle Haga, Tori Poole, Kole Haga, Chance Haga, Kathleen Blair Metz and Bradley Metz; and one sister-in-law, June Houchins of Victor, WVa. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 3 pm at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Anstead, WVa with Rev. Les Mullins officiating. Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Victor, WVa. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 pm until the time of the service at 3 pm at the funeral home.
