Katherine Powell Spaulding, 75, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her home in Radford. She was retired from Carilion Hospital where she was a pharmacy tech. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna Powell; husband, Norman Vincle Spaulding; and sister, Sheron Powell. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Maureen Spaulding; daughter, Kay Custer; grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Custer, and Olivia, Benjamin and Caroline Spaulding; brother, John G. Powell; and numerous other relatives. Per her request, there will be no services.
