Justin Garrett Smith, 37, of Radford, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was a member of Snowville Baptist Church and has worked for 20 years at Volvo Trucks as a paint repairman. Justin was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and family man. He was a faithful servant to his community, serving in the Snowville Volunteer Fire Dept. He was preceded in death by his special father, Chipper Phillips; grandfather, Cecil Shelton; grandmother, Edna Phillips; uncle, Clint Shelton; brother-in-law, Garrett Adam McCoy; and grandparents, Harry Lee Smith Sr. and Blanche Smith. Survivors include his wife, Holly McCoy Smith; son, Gavin McCoy Smith; daughter, Olivia Grace Smith; father, Harry Lee Smith, Jr.; mother, Patricia Smith Phillips; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily Smith McGrail and Ken Richardson of Radford, and Ashley and Adam Hill of Richmond; nephews, Jackson, Isaac and Foster; grandmother, Janet Shelton; grandfather, Kirby Phillips; godmother, Belva Dalton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vickie and Greg McCoy; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3 until 6 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. Neil Wood officiating.
