Junior David Hill, 85, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his home in Dublin surrounded by his family. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He was a retired coal miner with 33 years with the Eastern Assoc. Coal Company and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Hope Ash Hill; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlena and Harold Daugherty of Grand Blanc, Michigan and Jackie and Alan Green of Dublin; seven grandchildren Heather Harris, Stephanie Jones, Danielle Considine, Eric Daugherty, Justin Green, Samantha Green and Lora Love; special granddaughter, Evonna Kinkade; five great-grandchildren Hannah and Hayley Jones, Mackenzie and Owen Harris, and Dylan Considine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Don Sizemore and Rev. Doug Testerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The Hill family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
