Julia Elizabeth Howell Francis, 88 of Radford, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents Elbert Eden and Bertha Ollie Burnop Howell, and her husband Edward Earl Francis, Sr. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Edward E. and Anita S. Francis, Jr. of Shelby, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Keith Campbell of Christiansburg; five grandchildren Christopher K. Campbell, Matthew K. Campbell, Angela Francis Bloomfield, Scott Edward Francis, and Wendi Francis Custer; and seven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radford Christian Church in Radford with Rev. Karl Hunter and Rev. Joe Lindsoe officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice at 125 Arrowhead Trail SE Christiansburg, VA 24073. Special thanks to the good people at Richfields Joseph C.
