Joyce Yearout Bowman, 79, of Fairlawn, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was a member of Christiansburg Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold William and Mattie Lee Yearout. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Denver Lloyd Bowman; daughter, H. Christine Bowman; sisters, Frances Marshall and Lois Caldwell; brother and sister-in-law, Everette and Tina Yearout; grandchildren, Erika Price, Amanda (Travis) Cassell, and Angela Bowman; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Rebecca Yearout; and special friends, Chuck Sweat, and John and Carol Boyd. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Jerry Hylton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
