Joseph Thomas Slomka III, 26 of Dublin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday March 8, 2008 at his home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harvey Randall Bane. He was a member of the Radford Worship Center. Survivors include his mother and fiance; Lisa B Slomka and Buck Ratliff, Dublin; father and wife, Joseph Thomas, Jr. and Pamela Slomka, Winston-Salem, NC.; maternal grandmother; Barbara Ann Bane, Radford; paternal grandparents, Joseph Thomas and Lydia E. Slomka, Greensboro, NC; special girlfriend Lisa McCraw; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radford Worship Center in Radford with Pastor Mike Laster and Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
