John "JT" Clayton Turpin, 74, of Parrott, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was a master electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Turpin and Estelle Turpin Small, brother, S. Kenneth Turpin, stepson, Michael Caldwell, and great grandson, Lucas Turpin. Survivors include his wife, Nancy L. Turpin; son, Tony Turpin; daughters, Lisa (Dennis) Atkins, and Hope Turpin; stepson, John "JC" Caldwell and companion Sue Wright; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arnold L. (Pam) Turpin and Frank (Debra) Turpin. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 pm. The Turpin family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
