John Thomas Lyons, 20, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006. He attended Morgans Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Joseph Lyons. Survivors include his mother, Connie Kirtner Lyons of Dublin; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deanna and Brian Williams of Christiansburg, and Melody and Tom Marick of North Carolina; and his godparents, Sam and Brenda Cheatwood of Dublin; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church in Radford with Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Lyons family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
