John Curtis Lowery III, 66, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his home in Radford. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was retired owner of Kelmar Construction Sales. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Curtis Lowery, Jr. and Irene Louise Alexander Lowery. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Hoffman-Lowery; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Ronnell Robertson of Hickory, N. C.; grandchildren, John Charles, Lauren and Danielle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leslie and Maurice Skinner of Groton, N. Y., and Lisa and Bill Mason of Destin, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Brigitte Lowery of Pensacola, Fla; brother-in-law, David Hoffman of Rochester, N.Y.; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charles officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Radford Humane Society.
