John Michael Cheatham, 42, of 815 Bland Street, passed away on October 6, 2010 at his home in Pulaski after a courageous battle with lung cancer. John was born January 24, 1968 in Radford, VA. He proudly served his country for 18 years in the U.S. Army. John is preceded in death by his brother Mark Cheatham. Those left to cherish Johns memory are his wife of 16 years Kim Fisher Cheatham; daughters Tamara and Victoria; son Dakota; Parents John and Gay Cheatham; sisters Melissa Chrisley and Christy Cheatham; father and mother-in-law Edward and Joyce Fisher; brothers-in-law Todd Chrisley, Darren and Lee Fisher, and Michael Taylor; nieces Melanie and Makayla; and nephew Justin. A covered dish memorial service will be held in Johns honor on Saturday October 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Bissett Park, Shelter #1, in Radford. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Johns honor at the Bank of American in Pulaski or Radford.
