Joe Greyor Keen, 72, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Lewis Gale Pulaski Hospital. He was a retired coal miner and a U.S. Army veteran of both the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Thomas DeVenny Masonic Lodge #928 in Freeburn, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Keen and Geneva Lell; and stepmother, Lona Mae Keen. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Shirley Chapman Keen; daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya and Stephen Jones of Pulaski, Vanessa and Todd Goad of Salem, and Curtina and Jeff Johnson of Fredericksburg; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
