Jo Ann Jones Cleek, 77, of Radford, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was born in Wythe County the daughter of the late Steve and Virginia Hudson Jones. After the death of her mother, Jo along with her cousin, Dot Dalton, was raised by her Aunt Mame Dalton in Max Meadows. She retired from the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company after 32 years of service and was currently employed at PR Sturgill Fine Jewelry. Jo was a very active member of The Presbyterian Church of Radford where she was always the helping hand. She loved her church, spending time with family and friends, and keeping her home neat as a pin. She was preceded in death in 1993 by her loving husband Russell Carlyle Cleek, her parents, and her cousin, Dot Dalton Collins, who was like a sister. Survivors include extended family, friends, and her beloved cat Molly. Funeral services will be held at 7 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at The Presbyterian Church of Radford with Rev. David A. Dickerson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5 pm. Entombment will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10 am at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
