Jerry Douglas Gallaher, 79, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Douglas Gallaher; and his parents, Janet and Jerry Gallaher. He was retired from VA Tech where he was supervisor of computer operations, and he attended Auburn UM Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis Thompson Gallaher; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Linda Gallaher; niece and her husband, Melissa and Wayne Pannell; godsons, Jason Grubb and Hayden Douglas Burch; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Auburn UMC Building Fund, PO Box 74, Riner, VA 24149. He was buried in a private service.
