Jeffrey Jeff Mark Hamby, 56, of Radford, passed Friday, January 29, 2010. He was an employee of Volvo Trucks with over 22 years service. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Hamby. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Marsha N. Hamby of Radford; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Hamby of Oak Ridge, NC and Robert Robbie and Rachel Hamby of Radford; a daughter, Jessica Hamby of Radford; mother, Jessie F. Hamby of Christiansburg; and a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Robin Hamby of Raleigh, NC. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10 am at the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. A memorial service will follow at 11 am at the Grove United Methodist Church in Radford with Rev. Karen Lane and Rev. Jan N. Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 8 pm Wednesday at the church.
