Jeanette Shelton Bishop, 89, of Fairlawn, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was retired from Burlington Mills with 47 years of service and was a housekeeper at Wheatland Hills for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kyle and Jocie Turpin Shelton, husband, Rayburn O. Bishop, and brothers, Erby, Charlie and Arthur Shelton. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrtle Rotenberry and Hazel Phillips, both of Christiansburg, Louise and Cobern Quesenberry of Floyd, Irene and Leslie Dalton of Riner, and Zula Saul of Fairlawn; sister-in-law, Reneda Shelton; and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, William Marshall of Fairlawn. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at Big Sand Cemetery in Floyd County. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Bishop family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
