Jean Farmer Ratcliffes spirit and soul went into Gods presence on January 24, 2010. It is an honor to serve God. She was a member of the Radford Worship Center and a retired Registered Nurse with over 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Grace Ridpath Farmer. Survivors include her husband of 38 years James Lewis Ratcliffe; two brothers and sister-in-law, Manuel and Pat Farmer of Radford and C. B. Farmer of Christiansburg; three sisters and brother-in-law, Maggie Ahmann of Dublin, Eva and Ray Rash of Bradenton, FL, and Doris and Robert Tinley of Radford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Radford Worship Center with Rev. Hal Adams officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church. The Ratcliffe family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
