James Junior Turman, 66, of Christiansburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was a member of the Radford Worship Center and was employed with Canteen. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Landon and Mary Lou Turman; and his sister, Jean Ratcliffe. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Ava R. Turman; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sandra Turman of Dublin; stepson, Michael Sayers of Dublin; grandchildren, Bailey, Brandon, Kylee, Peyton and Bryton; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Joe Dice of Draper; and several nieces and nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Radford Worship Center. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford Worship Center.
