James Adrian Crabtree, 70, of Christiansburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 30, 2015. He was retired from Federal Mogul. Adrian was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Crabtree. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jean Jones Crabtree; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda C. and Tim Miles of Roanoke, and Beverly C. and Michael Kiefer of Kernersville, N.C.; grandchildren, Chelsea Renee Miles and Brandyn Luke Miles of Roanoke, and Taylor Leigh Bishop and Jonathan Robert Bishop of Kernersville, N.C; mother, Joyce Pauline Crabtree of Chesapeake; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Lee and Gloria Crabtree of Mt. Airy, N.C., George Timothy and Helen Crabtree of Honaker, and Paul Manley and Dena Crabtree of Va. Beach; his very special canine companion "Harry"; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Keith Crowgey and Rev. Earnest Chinault officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
