James Charlie Carr, 80, of Dublin, formerly of Round Hill, passed away at his home on October 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie M. Carr and Mary Webb Carr Lineback; a sister, Pearl Horton; daughters, Tammy Lynn Carr Hoover and Julia Carr Grubb; and a son, James Charlie Carr, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra Lang Carr; sons and daughter-in-law, Gene Carr (Kristie) and Timothy Carr; daughter, Faith Carr; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Carr,(Pat); sisters and brother-in-law, Karen Folgelman (Jim) and Helen Guynn; his father-in-law, Charles Lyon (Joyce); and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, VA.
