James Wesley Bocock, 96 of Radford, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008. He was a member of the Radford Christian Church and retired machinist from both the Lynchburg Foundry after 50 years and 8 months and RADVA at age 90 after 20 years of service. He was born in New River the son of the late Robert Warren and Tennie Price Bocock. Survivors include his wife Margaret L. Bocock of Radford; a daughter Doris Golden of Knoxville, TN; a stepson and his wife Henry and Connie Faivre of Chesapeake; four grandchildren and their spouses Beki and Joey Ledford of Atlanta, GA, Michael and Susan Golden of Nashville, TN, Susan and Gary Johnson of Knoxville, TN, and Missy Golden of Lawrenceville, GA; three great-grandchildren Rachel and Willie Ledford and Emily Golden; and a brother Cloyd Bocock of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. Fred Austin and Rev. Bobby Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. The Bocock family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
