Jack Wolston Brockway, III, 57, of Radford, Virginia, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal grandparents, father, Jack Wolston Brockway, Jr. and his canine companion, Lucy. Jack was born February 9, 1966, in Columbia, SC. He graduated from the Citadel in Charleston, SC and received his PhD in Physics from Wake Forest University. Jack had a love for education and spent most of his adult life teaching physics and astronomy. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Traci Taylor Brockway; daughters, Hannah and Emma Brockway; mother, Maria Brockway (John); brothers, Anthony and Brian Brockway; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Trudi and Frank Alberts, and many other family and friends.
