Irene Roop Hodge, 90, of Radford, passed away, Friday, October 14, 2016. She was a member of the Parrott Church of God and was a retired inspector at Russell Apparel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rush and Reba Roop, and her husband, Robert Weldon Hodge.Survivors include her brothers and sister-in-law, Donald W. and Frances Roop, of Radford, and Howard Brinkley of Hickory, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the Mullins Funeral Home, in Radford. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Eddie Dalton and Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Interment will be private in Sifford Cemetery in Parrott.
