Ila Jean Staton, 89, passed away at her home in Radford on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was retired from Hubble lighting. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Vaught and Charles Staton; parents, Earl and Bertie Brogan; grandsons, Chad Trent and Tristan Boothe; brother, Earl Brogan; and sisters, Madeline Lambert and Evangeline Tankersley. Survivors include her sons, Clarence Vaught and Roger (Marianne) Vaught; daughters, Mary Jean (Dennis) Donald, and Annette Vaught; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; brother, Rabon Brogan; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Intrepid Hospice for all their loving kindness and care of Ila. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mary Donald officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman Cemetery in Pulaski County.
