Hubert Sylvester Hall, 84, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and retired from New River Industries with over 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Hall and his wife, Ida Mae Akers Hall. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Vickie and Patrick Wood of Christiansburg, Lorie Harding of Riner; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Tamie Hall of Claytor Lake, Andy and Jessica Hall of Dublin; 9 grandchildren, Trisha, Travis, Logan, Andrew, Trenton, Rebecca, Rachel, Jacob and Sophia; and great grandchildren, Nic and Corine. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church in Dublin. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Doug Testerman officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, 552 E. Main St., Dublin, VA 24141.
