Homer Price Coble, 79, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, September 19. 2012. He was a member of New Life Harvest Church and a U. S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents William Sherman and Jennie Lou Snavely Coble, sisters, Francis Crowder, Artie May Hurst, Julia Mabry, Mary Lou Quesenberry, and Hattie Pruitt,and brothers Henry "Buck" Coble and Walter Sherman Coble. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Warren Homer and Angela Coble of Draper; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Burk of Dublin; grandchildren Heather Haga and husband Andrew, Nikki Chinault and husband Charlie, Zachary Coble, Matthew Coble and Abigail Coble; great grandchildren Lily Grace Haga, Andrew Haga, Khloe Haga and Morgan Haga; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the New Life Harvest Church in Radford with Pastor Dallas Vines officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to any charity for homeless Veterans. The Coble family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
