Hollis Burl Higginbotham, 87, of Daleville, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Greta Higginbotham; his sister, Irene (Eugene) Bradshaw; and brother, Richard (Glenda) Higginbotham. Survivors include his life partner, Dorothy "Dottie" Gaylor of Daleville; older brother, Paul (Joyce) Higginbotham of Newton, W.Va.; daughter, Vicki (Phil) Williams of Radford; granddaughter, Rebecca (Marshall) LeMert of Charlottesville; grandson, James (Bridget) Williams of Radford; and many other family members and friends. Burl will be remembered lovingly for his hardworking and generous spirit and entertaining sense of humor. Funeral services will be private.
