Herman Matthew Lester, 76, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at his home in Dublin. He was a member of the Stafford Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Lynchburg Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Margaret Spence Lester. Survivors include his son, Curtis Dean Lester of Galax; two daughters, Barbara Brunk and Dreama Lafon, both of Dublin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and a brother John Lester of Cambria. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. William Perkins officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
