Herbert Daniel Duncan, Sr., 82, of Radford, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was a member of the Tower of Refuge Church and retired from Atlantic Concrete. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Joan Sutphin Duncan, and sisters, Lucille Lester and Shirley Weddel. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Howard Lynn and Ann Duncan of Dayton, OH, Herbert, Jr. and Judy Duncan of Rogersville, TN, and Dale Lee Duncan of Albany, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald Wayne and Faye Duncan of Floyd; six grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Michael, Megan and Zachary Duncan; and a great-grandchild, Harmony Ann Duncan. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Stacy Cope and Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:300 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Duncan family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
