Helen Phillips Monroe, 88, of Claytor Lake, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Cox Phillips; and her husband, Dan Cecil Monroe. Survivors include her daughter, Susan M. Morgan; grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Monroe, and Joel Kelly Monroe; and a great grandson, Jackson Lee Monroe. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Gregory Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
