Hazel Robertine Williams Williamson, 92, of Radford, finished her long journey on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey "Buddy" Williamson, Jr. and her parents, Gibson and Carlie Williams. Survivors include her sons, W. H. "Banjo" Williamson III and James B. Williamson; grandsons, Chad H. Williamson and Reese A. Williamson; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the great caregivers at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Radford, the staff of Carilion Hospice Group, and to all of Hazel's friends at Grove United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Aaron Pierce officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Memorial Gardens of Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
