Hazel Smith Venable, 86, of Radford, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, the day before her 87th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin alexander smith and Ada Bramlett Smith; her husband, Clyde Junior Venable; and all her siblings. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Newbern United Methodist Church, 5155 Wilderness Road, Dublin, Va., with Pastor Paige Wimberly officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
