Hazel Blair Thompson, 93, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 at the Kroontje Center in Blacksburg, VA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Radford, VA. She was the daughter of the late Mamie Elizabeth and William Murphy Blair of Sweetwater, TN. She is the widow of Clyde Thomas Thompson of Greer, SC. She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Thompson, and a daughter, Joyce McTeer of Radford. Survivors include a granddaughter, Libby McTeer of Austin, TX; a son-in-law, Paul M. McTeer of Charleston, SC; a brother and sister-in-law, J. R. and Pauline of Sweetwater, TN; a niece and her husband, Judy and Bill Wilson and their children, of Knowville, TN; and several cousins in Greer, SC. Private graveside services will be held in Greer, SC at a later date. The Thompson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
