Hazel Roberta Richardson Lawson, 93, of Dublin, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford and retired as a supervisor of the laundry department of St. Albans Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byrd and Maudy Phillips; husband, Carl William Lawson; and sons, Carl David Lawson and Larry Gene Lawson. Survivors include her sons, Rodger (Sandy) Lawson, Ronald Lawson, and John (Lisa) Lawson; daughters, Patricia (George) Fox, and Linda (Terry) Lovern; grandchildren, Rodger, Lynn, Samantha, Larry, Tina, Jeremy, Darla, Ronnie, Michelle, Courtney, Misty, Shannon and Morgan; 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren; canine companion, Santana; and many other relatives and friends. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, graveside services will be privately held in Hickman Cemetery in Pulaski County. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
