Guy Elliott Cromer, Jr., 75, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. He formerly worked for Southwest Tobacco Company and retired from UPS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Elliott, Sr. and Edith Jennell Cromer; and his brother, Ronnie Cromer.
Guy was a loving father and great friend and loved to tell tall tales about his hunting and fishing expeditions.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Steve E. and Sharon Cromer of Dublin; daughter and her spouse, Ginger Cromer and Warren Philpott of Floyd; longtime special companion, Cassie Long of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Jessica Ashley Philpott, Sherri and Zach Neece, and Little Stevie Cromer; great granddaughter, Layla Grace Philpott; special friends, Alfred Woodyard and his family of Little Creek and Jerry Vass and his family of Hillsville; and many other friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. David Butcher officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
The Cromer family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
