Grover Evans Ridpath, 81, of Radford, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Luna Ridpath; his wife, Nancy Duncan Ridpath; grandson, Chris Warden; and great-granddaughter, Sarah Maxie. Survivors include six daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Claude Wade of Floyd, Becky and Randy Thornton of Hiwassee, Linda and Mike Maxie of Mocksville, N.C., Donna and Steve Warden of Belspring, Wendy and Walter Quesenberry of Hiwassee, and Dana and Jeff Weaver of Radford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bessie Montgomery and Calvin Richards, and Virginia Bonds and Fred Doody, all of Hiwassee; 10 grandchildren, Duane, Jamey, Ginger, Jessi, Ashley, Amy, Justin, Haleigh, Everett and Grace; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
