Goldie Mae Dalton Sutton, 84, of Fairlawn, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. She was a member of Morgans Chapel UMC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Oma Dalton; her son, James Edward Sutton, Jr.; and three brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James E. "Buddy" Sutton of Fairlawn; children and their spouses, Cindy and Bob Peek of Radford, Mike Sutton and Kevin Sweeney of Astoria, NY, and John "Joey" and Anita Sutton of Pilot; grandchildren and their spouses, Courtney and Caleb Hurd, Justin and Ashley Peek, and Chelsey and John Otey; 6 great-granddaughters, Ellie and Kate Hurd, Izzy and Lilly Peek, and Caiden and Carson Otey; sister, Ilectris Linkous of New River; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Ginny Tompkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
