Glen Crockett Hungate, 75, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013. He was a retired surveyor with the U. S. Dept of Agriculture. He was preceded in death by his wife Leoma Jones Hungate. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tommy Akers of Radford; sons, Dale Franklin of Pulaski and Ricky Franklin of Troutville; brother, Tony Hungate of Bland; grandchildren, Corey and India Akers, Kalynn Akers, Rachel and Shannon Franklin, and Melissa and Scott Sparks; and a great-grandson, NolanSparks. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Rockford Cemetery in Pulaski County with Pastor Beaver Terry officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Assoc. The Hungate family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
