Glada Wade Lawrence, 78 of Radford, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was a member of West Radford Church of God and was retired from Radford Community Hospital. She was preceded in death on October 11, 2008 by her husband Thalis E. Lawrence. Survivors include a son, Richard Lawrence of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Lewis Gravely of Radford; three grandchildren, Kevin Gravely, Crystal Thompson and Keith Lawrence; five great grandchildren, Courtney and Carrie Gravely, Haley and Hannah Thompson and Shawn Lawrence; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Mozelle Wade of Max Meadows and Archie and Treva Wade of New River; and a sister Reva Waddell of Dublin. The family would like to thank the staff at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for all their care. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Arthur Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. The Lawrence family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
