Gerald Stanley "Jerry" Williams, 81, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his home in Radford. He was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church and a retired police officer with 30 years of service with Radford City Police. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Audrey Williams; brother, Jack Williams; and father-in-law, Marshall Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Lenora R. Williams; sons, Jason Matthew (Miranda) Williams, David Lee (Corinne) Shelor, Jr. and Larry Douglas Williams; daughters, Libby (Matthew) Williams-Price, Anne Turpin and Ashley (Dustin) Scaggs; brother, Donald (Jeri) Williams; sister, Jewell (Chuck) Cuba; grandchildren, Marshall Jesse Shelor, Hannah Louise Williams, Carter Lee Shelor, Jacob Matthew Williams, Kantyn Layne Shirah, Natalie Turpin and Jessica Williams; sister-in-law, Karen E. Richardson; brothers-in-law, Johnny (Wanda) Richardson and Marshall (Janie) Richardson, Jr.; special friends, the Frost family; and his sidekick, Scamp. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Joe Mack Taylor officiating.
